Whenever you create content, it’s important to think of everyone who may want to watch it, including those with disabilities. Luckily, we have the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, often referred to as WCAG 2.0, to provide a single shared international standard to ensure that web content is accessible to all.

According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 250 million people who suffer from some form of visual impairment alone. One area that’s often overlooked when creating animations for web content is color contrast. This web content generally refers to visual information that’s posted on a web page or application, like text, images, and video, all pretty important things to help tell our story.

According to the guidelines, the contrast ratio between text and its background should be at least 4.5 to 1, in order to meet the minimum conformance eligibility level of double-A, to look like this. This ratio becomes less prominent with larger fonts since it’s easier to read at lower contrast. So, for example, if your type is at least 18pt or 14pt bold, the minimum contrast ratio drops to 3 to 1.

The WebAIM color contrast checker is a free resource that will calculate the score for both the regular and larger test sizes. It’s perfect to calculate your values. Just enter your color values, and check the results for compliance. And that’s all there is to helping everyone access your content.

They know and receive value from our product. In other words, while happiness can be fleeting, success is something tangible we can really grow our business on. With that being said, our goal is to build long-lasting relationships with our successful customers in order to empower both of us to grow and thrive. To ensure early customer success, we can track our feature usage through email campaigns and enable our customers with our free trial.

But how do we gain more successful customers after this? Well, here are the three steps to success. By ruthlessly qualifying leads, we can identify who our most successful customers are currently, find similar-looking leads, and allow us to ask the right questions.

We also want to drive our customers, to our newer features. The key is to identify our software’s stickiest features, the ones that unlock our core value and correlate with long-term success and retention. So don’t be afraid to connect.

Some people can be content but may not be getting the results they want. By following up, we obtain feedback that can ultimately improve our product and our customer experience. Overall, successful customers are our best reward as their success can boost our morale and inspire us to grow and thrive as a business. As you can see, cost per mille is the amount an advertiser pays to get 1,000 views. CPM on YouTube refers to the cost per 1,000 impressions. This is a great strategy for driving awareness and building your brand.

Next is the VCPM, which is an advertising metric that stands for viewable cost per mille. It works by monitoring placement and how long a user plays your ad or video in the browser, so you only pay for a viewable impression. The advantage of using VCPM is that it works to optimize your campaign by increasing the likelihood of making a genuine connection with viewers, enhancing the quality of your leads, and driving higher conversion rates.

And last, there’s maximum CPV. Maximum CPV, cost per view, is a bidding strategy where Google will only charge you if someone watches 30 seconds of your video or the full video. If it’s shorter than that, these time and budget restrictions ensure you never overspend or pay for a view from a person who’s not interested in your product. Our daily sales continued to grow, striking a much healthier balance of new and repeat business compared to last year. The volume of Zodio plans sold also went up steadily, with our Zodio Sun plan seeing the greatest uptick in November. New customers from last year make up a diverse representation of some of our key audiences, like HR professionals and C-suite execs. Speaking of our customers, here’s an update from Willow in customer success.

Our NPS score went up 12 points last year, and nine out of 10 customers said they would recommend Zodio to a friend. We’ve seen a lot less churn, too, bringing us closer to hitting our two-year retention goal.

Want to learn how to stop money laundering? First, you’ll need to learn how it’s done. Money laundering is the process of making dirty money clean.

No, not like that. Money laundering is the process of making dirty money clean so that criminals can actually use their ill-earned cash without getting tracked down. The first stage of money laundering is placement. When the dirty money is placed in a legitimate financial system like a bank or a business. Cash intensive businesses where transactions aren’t closely regulated, like bars and pawnshops, are especially vulnerable. So let’s say you illegally got $10 million. Where would you put it?

Uh… In my sandwich?

Enough with the sandwich. To hide that kind of money, a fraudster might create a few cash-heavy, legitimate businesses like an antique shop or a hair salon. Once the money is placed in the salon, it’s time to move to the second stage of money laundering, which is layering. Layering is the act of moving the money through complex transactions to make it virtually untraceable. So at the salon, you might gradually slip the dirty money into an unregulated tip jar to mingle with legitimate cash so you can’t tell the cash apart. The final stage of money laundering is integration. When you take that mixed-up money to the bank, once you’ve deposited the dirty money, along with the tips into the salon’s bank account, it becomes legitimate, untraceable, and expendable cash you could use to buy anything you want, including a sandwich. Understanding the basic mechanics of money laundering is key to knowing your customer and advancing the fight against real-life crime.
